With inclusion, the uniqueness of individual is celebrated, and the focus is not so much on demographic groups, but on the knowledge, skills and experience each person can offer. The experience of inclusion indicates that the employee’s values and thoughts are not only accepted but integrated by the organization.
Individuals need to feel *unique* and different from others in their direct work environment as well as feel like they *belong*to that same work environment.
More than anything else inclusion is felt; it is a perception.
